Robert Pleasants, of the Co. of Goochland. Will of. Gibes the land on which he the sd. Robert Pleasants lives to John Sheppard, son of Peter Sheppard, decd. and in case of the death of sd. John Sheppard without lawful issue then to be divided equally between all of the single daughters
of the sd. Peter Sheppard, decd. Directs that the single daughters of the sd. Peter Sheppard decd. remain on and occupy the house the testator lives in; also directs that all stock, corn, fodder, oats, &c. and his goods and chattels of whatsoever kind remain upon the plantation for the use of the family of sd. Peter Sheppard, decd. Appoints John Sheppard and George W. Watkins executors, and requests that the Court will not require any security of them. Wit. Geo. W. Watkins, Ann Redford, Ann Craywell, Henry M. __X__ Layne, R. R. Watkins, Edward Redford. Proved by the oaths of Henry M. Layne, R. R. Watkins & Edward Redford. John Shepard qualifies as executor without security giving bond for $200,00. Recd. Mch.20, 1843. Jan. 22, 1840. D. W.
