Robert C. Pleasants (unknown) Will

Valentine Papers page 1152

Robert C. Pleasants, Will of, “I make a will, not that I have anything to will, but as it is the form of the country – as it consists only of one horse. It is my wish that Mr. Shield Saunders be paid for his trouble whilst I am sick here. I bequeath my miniature to my niece Susannah Webster. I will the gold Trinket marked C. L. to be returned to Mrs. Sarah Carter. My nail manufactory which I expect my executor will do something handsome with by selling it to some man of speculation. I think two hundred dollars. I appoint Wm. A. Cocke my executor, revoking all other wills. Robert C.
